Another night at Starfire Sports and another win for the Seattle Sounders Women.
This time they were taking on the Colorado Rapids Women and scored three goals from Alex Morgan, Lyndsey Patterson, and Stephanie Cox. Hope Solo got the clean sheet without too many touches on the ball, as the Sounders outshot the Rapids 26-2.
US Olympic teammates Sydney Leroux and Megan Rapinoe had already left to prepare for Olympic training camp, but Alex Morgan and Hope Solo were still on hand. Watching these national team players in person has been quite a treat. I am really looking forward to see them compete in the Summer Games.
But even after all four join the national team training camp, the Sounders will still be a very strong team, not easily defeated.
