Last week, Seattle Sounders’ star winger Steve Zakuani suffered a potentially season-ending broken fibula and tibia during an away match against Colorado. Today, the home supporters paid tribute to the number 11 at the eleventh minute mark in the match against Toronto (which they went on to win 3-0!).
It was quite an emotional moment with the crowd doing a loud call and return chant of “STEVE” and “ZAKUANI” for the entire minute.
