Four Free Passes to Seattle Art Museum

Looking at art produced by others is a fantastic source of inspiration for me. My wife and I continue to be supporting members of the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) so that we can introduce our out-of-town guests to the permanent collections there. This year, we ended up having more guest passes than we had out-of-town visitors. And we don’t want them to go to waste. So we decided to give some away.

Did you know that SAM’s permanent collection houses works by artists such as Claude Monet, Alexander Calder, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol? Or that recent acquisitions include art from the 16th and 19th centuries as well as 20th and 21st century photos, paintings, and sculptures? If you’ve never visited or let your own membership lapse, this is your chance to get in on me. All you have to do is help me spread the word about my art by Liking my Facebook page and asking your friends to do the same.

Here’s how my SAM Guest Pass Giveaway will work: Once my Facebook page reaches 75 Likes, I will randomly pick one person to win the passes. If you already Like my page, then you are already in the running. You can help me pick a winner faster by suggesting your friends like it too.

If this proves to be successful, then I may repeat the giveaway before the end of the year. The guests passes are good through January 31, 2012 and will get you in to the permanent galleries. (Special exhibits and lectures may require additional fees.)

And don’t forget, my West Seattle Art Walk show is rapidly approaching! October 13, 5:30-9pm at West Seattle Wine Cellars. For more details and to RSVP, check out my event page, or just show up!
