Seattle Reign Still Undefeated

After playing 9 matches, Seattle Reign still have a zero in the loss column. On Sunday afternoon, it looked like they might finally get their first one of the year. But in the 92nd minute, Bev Goebel found Kim Little at the top of the penalty box, and Little scored her 8th goal of the season to give the Reign a draw with Western NY Flash and preserve their unbeaten season.

Over 4000 fans battled the tough traffic and sparse parking due to the Memorial Day weekend and Folklife Festival at Seattle Center. I believe that’s the biggest crowd for a home match, yet. Hopefully this trend will continue as more and more people realize that this team is something special. I’ve been saying it all season, this is a bandwagon worth hopping on. It’s been a fun ride so far.
