Art of the Table: Queso y Vino Wine Dinner

Chef Dustin, Phil, and Laurie hit it outta the park again with this six course Italian-inspired feast at Art of the Table on Wednesday, April 13. Catherine Reynolds of Queso y Vino selected some great wines to pair with each dish.

Here was the lineup:

  • Reception

    Sicilian flatbread w/chickpea, marinated kale rapini & pepitas. Served with Castello Carboncine Brut D.O.C. Prosecco from Treviso, IT.

  • Crudo

    Albacore tuna, fennel pollen, preserved lemon, radish, arugula pesto, and 2009 Borgo Scopeto EVOO. Served with Castello Carboncine Pinot Grigio, 2009.

  • Antipasto

    Duck ham, coppa, pork ciccoli, pickled fiddlehead ferns, marinated Castelvetrano olives. Served with Alois Lageder Lagrein Rosato, 2009 from Alto Adige, IT.

  • Pesce

    Parmesan and oregano-crusted wild sturgeon, tuscan melted greens, smoked tomato brodo. Served with Giribaldi Barbera d’Alba, 2009 from Piemonte, IT.

  • “Quailo”

    Italian sausage-stuffed quail, creamy polenta, lion’s mane mushrooms. Served with Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino, 2005 from Toscana, IT.

  • Dolce

    Olive oil cake, honey-orange gelato, citrus. Served with Giribaldi Moscato d’Asti, 2010.
