On Wednesday night, the Seattle Reign extended their winning streak to seven matches, beating FC Kansas City by a score of 3-2.
It looked like this might have been the match that broke the streak. They gave up two goals for the first time this season. But Keelin Winters headed in the game winner in the 76th minute.
The crowd was decent for a midweek match. A little more than 2800 fans were on hand. I’m still hoping more people will start showing up for these matches. This team is something special and even when they don’t have the best of performances, they are still a fun group to watch. So if you still haven’t gone, I urge you to go check them out. And bring a friend. And go back often! (And no, I am not paid by the team to say this. :-))
