Sounders Win Again

They did it again. The Seattle Sounders went down a goal early in the match (after FC Dallas converted on an arguably soft penalty call). But just like they have done so often this season, the Sounders came back to collect all three points.

It was definitely not pretty to watch at times. Tons of fouls and several yellow cards kept any sort of rhythm out of the match, especially in the first half.

But in the 62nd minute, Obafemi Martins found birthday-boy Lamar Neagle who deftly finished the equalizing goal. Then in the 88th minute, Oba found Kenny Cooper (who had just subbed into the match not two minutes prior) for the winning goal.

While the soccer may not have been the most attractive, it did make for some fun photographs. And we finally had a match where the light and the conditions were great! So to celebrate that, here’s a slightly larger than usual gallery.
