Sounders Beat Union, 2-1

On another rain-soaked night, the Seattle Sounders came from behind to earn another three points. This time, it was against the Philadelphia Union.

For the first match in a long time, Clint Dempsey didn’t get a goal or assist. But Obafemi Martins tallied his fourth goal of the season and Chad Marshall headed in his first for the match-winning goal.

As far as the shoot itself, well…it rained. A lot. I guess that’s what I get for complaining about shooting in the sun last week! The difference is that while spending the day in the sun is great, the resulting photographs can be somewhat frustrating. (Read that other post to learn why.) However, sitting in a torrential downpour for 90+ minutes may not be my idea of a good time, I do love the effect the rain gives to the photos.

OK, so how about a nice calm, overcast day next time. Is that too much to ask? In Seattle…in May, it probably is.
